Learning Options

What learning options do you offer?

We offer three main learning pathways:

Each option is designed for different learner needs, ages, and levels of independence.

What is the difference between your learning centre and online courses?

Our learning centre provides daily, structured academic support in a supervised, in-person environment.

Our online courses are self-paced and designed for parents who want structured support without daily attendance.

What is the GED programme and how does it work?

The GED (General Educational Development) is an internationally recognised high school equivalency qualification. Instead of completing CAPS year by year, students prepare for and write a set of subject exams.

The GED is suitable for students who need flexibility or an alternative to mainstream schooling. It is not an easier option and requires academic readiness and maturity.

Can my child attend your learning centre and still do GED?

Yes. Some students attend the learning centre for daily academic structure while preparing for the GED pathway.

This is assessed on a case-by-case basis to ensure the student is academically and emotionally ready.

Do you follow CAPS or an accredited curriculum?

Parents are responsible for selecting and purchasing a curriculum. We do not issue report cards or act as a registered school.

Our role is academic guidance, structure, support, and facilitation.

What ages and grades do you support?

We support students across multiple phases, depending on the learning option:

  • Foundation & Intermediate phase support through online courses

  • Senior phase and high school learners at the learning centre

  • Mature learners for the GED pathway

Is your learning centre a school?

No. We are a learning centre, not a registered school.

This allows us to offer flexibility, personalised support, and alternative learning pathways while parents remain responsible for curriculum and registration decisions.

How do I know which option is best for my child?

Choosing the right option depends on:

  • Your child’s academic level

  • Their ability to work independently

  • Emotional readiness and motivation

  • Long-term goals

How do I get started?

Start by exploring the learning option that best matches your child’s needs, then book a consultation or enrol where applicable.
